NORTH BALTIMORE, Ohio - Timed to coincide with the introduction of a new office building opening in 2008, Hancock-Wood Electric Cooperative also unveiled a new corporate brand logo.
The new logo is consistent with the previous design scheme by retaining certain elements, colors and fonts, yet introduces a new era. In doing so, it retains a certain familiarity with members and the public on an already well-established image, yet offers a fresh revision that is clean and dynamic. The new mark identifies the full name
of the company in black text, with the recognizable house/bolt symbol prominently displayed in red and blue.
“A new building offers us a fantastic opportunity to update our image,” said George Walton, President & CEO. “Change is good and we’re excited.”
The new logo was introduced to over 2,000 members at the recent Annual Meeting, and it will be phased onto all new vehicles, print material, apparel and other related materials over time.
