NORTH BALTIMORE, Ohio - U.S. Congressman Robert Latta (R-Bowling Green) will attend a legislative forum for Hancock-Wood Electric Cooperative members on Monday, April 28, 2008 from 7:30 - 9 a.m. at the company office in North Baltimore.
The event will discuss topics that impact members directly, including political issues affecting Hancock-Wood and its rates, where Mr. Latta is scheduled to address timely topics in Congress. Those in attendance will be able to voice their concerns over legislative decisions that influence electric cooperatives’ day-to-day operations. Congressman Robert Latta (R- Bowling Green) is currently serving his first term in the United States House of Representatives after being elected in a special election on December 11, 2007 to complete the remaining term of the late Congressman Paul Gillmor. Congressman Latta is a member of the House Committee on Agriculture and the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. Prior to his election to Congress, Latta was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives (2001-2007), Ohio Senate (1997-2001), and Wood County Commissioner (1991-1996).
