NORTH BALTIMORE,
Ohio - 3:00 pm - Fortunately, the outage situation at Hancock-Wood
Electric Cooperative (HWE) has improved: only 700 remain without
power (down from 1,200 at 5:05 am). HWE anticipates restoring
most of these over the weekend.
Many of these to be restored need specific individual attention
due to fallen service wires or broken poles at homes. These
individual projects can be time consuming when crews must
do work for only one account, as opposed to restoring masses
with one repair. Of course, the work will continue until the
restoration is complete.
